The Canada, BC, Okanagan Nation Alliance and UBC Flags at UBC Okanagan and the Canada flag (at Flagpole Plaza) and the BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (temporarily relocated to the East Mall Entrance and Plaza at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre) at UBC Vancouver will be lowered on Friday, December 6 to mark the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
The School of Engineering is hosting a memorial ceremony for 14 Not Forgotten on Friday, December 6 from 10 to 11:30 am, in the Engineering, Management and Education building’s zero-level foyer. All are welcome to attend.
