The Canada, BC, Okanagan Nation Alliance and UBC flags at UBC Okanagan and the Canada flag (at Flagpole Plaza) and the BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) on the UBC Vancouver Campus will be lowered on Thursday, November 11, in recognition of Remembrance Day.
This year, due to COVID-19, the Okanagan campus will participate virtually in the UBC Remembrance Day ceremony which is being held as a hybrid event in the War Memorial Gym on the Vancouver campus. All UBC students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to watch—to honour and remember all those who served in times of war, military conflict and peace.
