Media Release and Advisory submission form

Help us get your news to the media and community. By using the form below, you will provide University Relations with the details needed to evaluate the newsworthiness of your material, set priorities, and help us effectively promote UBC’s Okanagan campus.

You will be contacted by Media Relations staff within seven days of submitting your request.

Please note that Media Relations requires 2 to 3 weeks notice to prepare and schedule your media release or advisory.

Tips

  • Media will be notified of your event. Given news deadlines, stage your event between 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for best on-campus coverage prospects.
  • Add your event to the online UBCevents calendar.
  • Use social media and professional networking channels to promote your news to reach a wider audience.

  • Contact Information for media calls

  • Type of news

  • Fill in all information as applicable

  • News angles

  • Photography

    Media Relations provides on-campus photography during regular office hours to illustrate media releases. We will loan you a camera for off-hours and off-campus events. Please indicate your requirement.
