In memory of Jessica Eaman

Flags on the Okanagan campus are lowered today, Thursday, Mar. 29, in memory of student Jessica Eaman, 26, of Vernon, BC, who passed away on Mar. 16.

Jessica was a fourth-year student in Community, Culture and Global Studies, in the Irving K. Barber School of Arts and Sciences. She was an accomplished student who had planned to begin a Master of Arts degree after graduating this spring. Jessica was also an avid cross-country skier who worked with young skiers at Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre near Vernon.

We extend condolences to the Eaman family, and Jessica’s many friends and colleagues.
