National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women

The Canada, BC, Okanagan Nation Alliance and UBC Flags at UBC Okanagan campus and the Canada flag (at Flagpole Plaza) and the BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (temporarily relocated to the East Mall Entrance and Plaza at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre) on the UBC Vancouver campus will be lowered on Tuesday, December 6 to mark the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

The School of Engineering is hosting a memorial ceremony for the 14 Not Forgotten on Tuesday, December 6 from 3:30 to 5 pm, beginning outdoors at the Engineering, Management and Education amphitheatre outside the lower level doors of the Richard S. Hallisey Atrium. A permanent memorial installation will be unveiled at the ceremony. All are welcome to attend.
