The Canada, BC, Okanagan Nation Alliance and UBC flags at UBC Okanagan and the BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) on the UBC Vancouver Campus will be lowered on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, in memory of student Joshua Yoneda, who passed away May 16, 2022. Joshua was in his fourth year of a medical degree in the Southern Medical Program. Our sincere condolences to Joshua’s family, friends and colleagues.
A memorial service will be held in Kamloops on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Schoening Funeral Service, 513 Seymour Street.
