Flags at UBC Okanagan will be lowered on Friday, October 8, 2021, in memory of Dr. Hugo De Burgos, Associate Professor of Teaching in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences’ Department of Community, Culture, and Global Studies. Dr. De Burgos passed away on September 28, 2021, in Kelowna, BC.
Our sincere condolences to Dr. De Burgos’ family, friends and colleagues. His family invites all who would like to pay their respects to attend the livestream of the memorial service at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 9.
