The UBC Okanagan community is saddened by the passing of Dr. Ian Stuart on September 2, 2017.
Dr. Stuart joined UBC in 2007, serving as Professor of Supply Chain Management and Dean of the Faculty of Management. Prior to his time at UBC, Dr. Stuart was director of the Gerald Schwartz School of Business and Information Systems at St. Francis Xavier University and former director of graduate programs at the University of Victoria’s Faculty of Business.
Condolences to Dr. Stuart’s family, colleagues and former students.
At a later date, a private Celebration of Life will be held and flags on the Okanagan campus will be lowered in Dr. Stuart’s memory. If desired, donations in Ian Stuart’s name may be made to Victoria Hospice or BC Cancer Foundation.
