Flags on UBC’s Okanagan campus will be lowered on Thursday, December 24, 2015, in memory of Dr. Spiro Yannacopoulos, who passed away on Monday, December 21, 2015.
Dr. Yannacopoulos, a full professor, served as Director and Associate Dean of the School of Engineering at UBC Okanagan from 2006 through August 2015.
Prayers will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, at Springfield Funeral Home (2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 24, at 9 a.m. at the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes (2547 Hebert Road, West Kelowna), with interment to follow in the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.
