The flags on UBC’s Okanagan campus are lowered on Friday, November 15, 2013 in memory of Claire Jones, a second-year Bachelor of Human Kinetics student from Hinton, Alberta, who passed away earlier this week.
A candle-light vigil will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, in the courtyard outside the Arts and Sciences Centre at UBC Okanagan. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served following.
A funeral service for Claire will be held in Hinton, Alberta, on Monday, November 18. Friends will be able to post their condolences at www.mountainrose.ca.
