Flags are lowered today, April 10, 2012 in memory of retired UBC employee Lorraine Engelsmeier, who passed away on April 3. Lorraine retired in March 2010, after serving for 32 years with Okanagan College, Okanagan University College, and UBC’s Okanagan campus, most recently as class and examination scheduler with Enrollment Services.
Our condolences to husband Erhard and the Engelsmeier family, and Lorraine’s many friends and colleagues.
A celebration of Lorraine’s life will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Kelowna Elks Lodge #52, 205-2040 Springfield Road, Kelowna.
In lieu of flowers, friends who so wish may make memorial donations to the Central Okanagan Hospice Association in memory of Lorraine.
