The flags on campus will be lowered on Friday, Sept. 16, 2011 in memory of Judit Moldovan, who passed away on Sept. 13.
Judit was the lab manager for the undergraduate chemistry laboratories in the Irving K. Barber School of Arts and Sciences. She was instrumental in the success of many Green Labs initiatives on the Okanagan campus and was a founding member of the Green Research Advisory Committee.
We extend condolences to the Moldovan family, and Judit’s many colleagues, friends and students on campus.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, at 10 a.m., at the Mission Creek Alliance Church Hall (2091 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC).
Flowers may be sent to the Springfield Funeral Home (2020 Springfield Road) by Friday, Sept. 16. Please request “Moldovan” be included on the card to ensure proper delivery to the service the following day.
