The flags will be lowered on Friday, Aug. 19, 2011 in memory of Daniel Lovegrove, a fourth-year student from Peachland, B.C., who passed away suddenly on Aug. 13.
Daniel was a psychology student in the Irving K. Barber School of Arts and Sciences, where he earned a place on the Dean’s List for the past two years.
Students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend a celebration of his life on Saturday August 20, at 1 p.m. in the Central Common of the Edgewater Mobile Park (his home) in Peachland, 6663 Highway 97 South.
Parking is available at Hardy Falls, the entrance is just past the park entrance. Signs will be posted.
