Introduction
Dr. Gord Lovegrove, Asst. Professor in the School of Engineering, has asked that this survey on a Staff/Faculty U-PASS be circulated to the campus community for wide input. Senior administration has agreed to this request to consult with faculty and staff of the Okanagan campus. While the results of this survey will not be binding, they will be shared with the campus community.
This survey will take less than 5 minutes to complete. All personal indentifying information will be kept confidential, and aggregate results will be reported in summary format.
Survey objectives
This survey is intended to be used by senior executive in seeking possible ways (e.g. a staff/faculty U-PASS) to support our campus’s academic and research strategic plans regarding sustainable learning and research opportunities.
Details about the survey and background about U-PASS are provided here.
A U-PASS (Universal Transportation Pass) is a card that entitles its holders to unlimited access to the Kelowna Regional Transit System whenever and wherever the system operates (i.e. more than just on UBC-related routes). UBC and the UBC Students’ Union Okanagan (UBCSUO) implemented a student U-PASS program in 2007.
If you have any questions regarding this survey, please feel welcome to call or e-mail Dr. Gord Lovegrove (gordon.lovegrove@ubc.ca 250-807-8717).
